// INTEGRATIONS
Linear
If your team already lives in Linear, Leroy works inside it. The integration is label-gated — Leroy only picks up issues you explicitly mark with an Agent Ready label — and bidirectional: comments sync both ways, and Leroy writes status and assignee back as it works. You keep planning in Linear; Leroy handles the issues you hand it.
01 What it does
Leroy treats your Linear issues as a source of work — but only the ones you opt in. Nothing gets picked up just because it exists.
- Label-gated intake. Leroy ignores your backlog until you add the Agent Ready label to an issue. Label it, and Leroy picks it up; remove the label, and it stays hands-off.
- Bidirectional comment sync. Comments on the Linear issue reach Leroy, and Leroy's updates and questions post back as comments — so the conversation stays where your team already reads it.
- Status writeback. As work moves — picked up, in progress, in review, done — Leroy updates the issue's status in Linear.
- Assignee writeback. Leroy reflects ownership on the issue so it's clear at a glance what it's working.
i
The label is the contract. The Agent Readylabel is how you tell Leroy "this one's yours." It keeps Leroy out of issues that aren't ready, and gives your team a simple, visible way to delegate.
02 Connect it
You connect Linear from the Integrations screen in the Leroy app. Exact steps live there, but the shape is:
- Open Integrations → Linear in the Leroy app and start the connect flow.
- Authorize Leroyfor your Linear workspace through Linear's OAuth prompt.
- Let Leroy set up the label and sync. Connecting provisions the Agent Ready label and the webhook it needs to see labeled issues — no manual Linear configuration.
- Label an issue. Add Agent Ready to any issue you want Leroy to take, and it starts working.
03 What it unlocks
With Linear connected:
- Delegate from your existing workflow. No new tool to live in — label an issue and it becomes a pull request, with progress reflected back on the issue.
- One source of truth. Status, assignee, and the comment thread stay current in Linear, so your team sees the work without leaving it.
- Opt-in by design. Because intake is label-gated, Leroy never surprises you by acting on an issue you didn't hand it.
